I see this as the true end of the clone wars, not the defeat of the separatists, not order 66, and not anakin becomming vader. It is the clones who fought this war. And now their home is crushes by this new empire who sends kamino and it’s clones into history, replacing it with storm troopers.

The Clone rebellion was just a game mechanic included in Battlefront 2, to give you an excuse to fight Clones as the Empire. It was never canon, and what Bad Batch does with its clone storyline post-RotS is far more interesting and meaningful

@@legobi_wan_kenobi Nonsense. TBB's story is nonsensical, unloreful bullcrap. There was no 'clone rebellion' as TBB portrays it, and the Empire didn't have this random hate boner for clones either. Meanwhile the Kaminoan Rebellion actually makes some semblance of sense because the Kaminoans are fully capable of doing what they did in the game.

@@tk-6967 How would the Kaminoans have been able to get away with growing, training and arming an entire battalion of clones in secret, without the Empire noticing? Its makes perfect sense that the Empire would seize the cloning technology and shut down the facilities, they don't want to pay an independent contractor to do cloning for them, like the Republic did, Palpatine wants that technology for himself. TBB tells a far more nuanced and interesting story about the fate of the clones compared to what we saw in legends

@@legobi_wan_kenobi Except Palpatine didn't need to do that. He could have done exactly as he did in the EU and nationalized the Kaminoan facilities. If you think that the Kaminoan rebellion story is bs, fine, but you should be willing to admit equally that the story told in TBB is bs as well. Admiral Tarkin shouldn't be involved, the Empire shouldn't be getting rid of clones this early on even if they are 'decommissioning' the facilities for that purpose, non-clone stormtroopers should not only not be introduced as a concept but also shouldn't be finished their training yet, and the Empire shouldn't have started prior to the Senate vote on the matter. The Senate act we see that was passed in TBB S2 should have been the first time we were hearing about the Empire thinking about getting rid of clones. Then we should have seen the Imperial army being more prevalent as clone troopers became the first of the stormtroopers (a virtually honorary title that was created to distinguish them from regular soldiers, contrary to what TBB says) and thus would be assigned as elite troops not commonly seen. But Filoni and the other writers position stormtroopers as though they are patrol officers rather than elite soldiers.

@@tk-6967 the Clones were a relic of the old Republic, and they had served their purpose in Palpatine's plans. Palpatine was more interested in enlisting ordinary people, and indoctrinating them to the new order, than he was in keeping the clones. Tarkin was involved because he's Palpatine's right-hand-man in the Empire, as seen in A New Hope where Tarkin outranks Vader

Only real fans remember playing as Boba Fett and feeling the actual sadness of killing the revolting clones, playing as Jango Fett's raised son, rather than the artificial drama of destroying Tapoca City for no reason other than to avoid following Star Wars canon in the future.
