@@yurgen95 yeah because on pc there's a mode called no mercy which loads alot of enemies on the screen which was absent on the ps3 and 360 port

@@schemar17 I know about the mod, I've been replaying RE5 lately with that, and in retrospective I don't think it was impossible to increase the amount of enemies, even RE6 had more enemies and I think it even has better A.I, in the Leon campaign you fight like 10 or 12 enemies at the same time, maybe a little bit more, in a way more open eviroment, and again there is dead rising, there had to be another reason for discarting that. EDIT: oh the mercenary mode, I though you were talkinig about the "night terror" mod for the campaign

@@yurgen95 yeah mercenaries plus RE6 came out in 2013 by then Devs knew how to add more enemies If they did do a remake of 5 they could incorporate things that didn't make the cut for example when you fight the ndesu it was supposed to be 5 of them not just 1

Cool mod, but personally hate how people believe this version of RE5 is superior to the original. Making the entirety of RE5 a haunted house is cool on paper, but is kind of distracting in execution for me. And not in a good way. A lot of people complain about the atmosphere of RE5, which can be easily fixed by just adjusting your brightness. Sure RE5 doesn’t have a million “creep factor” moments, but it doesn’t need them. The biggest problem with RE5 (in my opinion) is its critical reception. EVERYONE played it, loved it, and moved on. Until slowly but surely, its role as a punching bag to uplift RE4 was cemented. I understand RE5 comes after RE4, but it’s not a sequel to RE4, it’s another installment in the RE franchise. If people nowadays would just shut themselves up for a few hours to fully engage themselves with the game, I feel like less complaints would result. As someone whose favorite game of ALL TIME is RE5, just play the game and fix ur brightness. Have fun, enjoy the visual storytelling, and save your critiques for the end. ❤
