Your Reviews are Phase One IQ4 Quality (and I have shot with that). You make buying camera equipment even more fun, and in this case made me consider getting this for my SONY 6400 - even though I do most of my work in FF. How did you develop your passion for photography. Finally are you really an NBA fan. It is almost a miracle seeing an American wearing an English Football shirt. I hope you get to test the A7RIV - I shot with it for several hours(a demo model) and liked it even more than the FUJI GFX 100 for detail and ease of use.

I have a slightly dumb question....😅Iam a hobby videographer and I film art videos and "journal with me" and so I want to buy this lens for filming my "journals".I do lots of collage journaling and I wanted to get a closer look at them in an aesthetic dreamy sort of a way...would this be suitable for it?

Great review man. That Pen-f is still the sexier recent camera imo ( the leica q2 is gorgeous too lol). Just one advice for next review : more samples in the vids please.

Great review. Still one of the best for the Kamlan. But my prob still is whether to buy it for my Oly E-M5 Mark II or my Fuji X-T2 :/ Main intended purpose would be Low Light Street Portraits. The Question is, would It be better to have a more compressed Background for that on the Oly or the wider field of view of the Fuji... Yould someone help me to decide?

Thank you so much! Yep, I wanted to do a little piece on focus peaking but ran out of time - peaking is your best friend with a lens like this, especially combined with magnify so you can get super-precise on where your focus is landing!

As far as I know sensor size does not change aperture. It changes DOF, but not aperture.

I have the older Kamlan type I lens. It has a great bayonet mount PLASTIC sun shade. Why they chose metal is beyond me. Plastic is resilient and absorbs shock when placing the camera/lens down, avoids damage when hitting hard surfaces like door frames, tables, window panes, etc.... AND a screw mount is also awful.... what gives???? Are they trying to appeal to the Leica crowd? Is it designed to sit on a shelf and look pretty?
