I've used both, just went to the pro for the benefit of wifi. OG X1 went a year with zero issues but when power went out the clock resets to midnight which was annoying and its bluetooth only so you have to be there to adjust it. The new pro keeps the time and you can adjust the doseing anywhere you have internet

Bought 12 of the OG X1. Now I have 12 measuring cylinders lol. Such a shame we can't hang these.

What do you recommend for connecting the 5 mm tubing to dosing bottles?

I have never dosed anything with a doser, just by hand. Does this include everything besides the container for the chemical I am dosing? Also I know this is very ignorant but not very savvy but both can be controller by your phone right? Whats the difference between blue tooth and wifi? Also peristaltic and this one? Thinking about using for kalk. I know most people use ato for that but more costly for a good one. Do these things ever fail and dose to much? Is there anything for redundancy? I am thinking the pro dosing more often would maybe keep alk more stable but more dosing may mean more times for an overdose? I am totally ignorant about this stuff. Still pretty much a newbie and definitely a newbie when to comes to dosing! But since its xmas time, would make a good gift by my hubby! LOL

Use ur ato for kalk. And yes kamoer dosers are reliable, even hospitals use this brand

Didn’t explain the difference, the only difference is the pro will let you Dose 24 time in one day. The x1 is 12. 10000ml vs 6000ml a day. Same head. 5 units with the x1.
