Hoping Kenan & his family stay safe during the hurricane. We r close to where it’s supposed to hit landfall and got as prepared as we can. Just moved into our new home a week ago. Retired to Manatee County, Florida and everyone said….. oh they never hit this area 😝🥴. Stay safe everyone!

I love Marge madness she is a cutie and I also love snapping turtles grew up in West Virginia used to play in a creek all the time and running to these guys and have been a fan of them ever since also I wouldn't worry about what other people say you're doing an amazing job and you're doing something to help animals but also help educate people it's so easy for people to make judgement behind the computer without educating themselves I've definitely learned a lot from your channel keep up the good work Kenan hope everyone and you and your family are being safe

It looks catastrophic from the internet. Category 4. The worst we had in NZ was Cyclone Bola which in our old house back then felt like being in a ship at sea. Power was out for days. Hills slipped away to nothing. This much be much worse though. Any news on Tyler, Chandler and Duff?

I love common snapping turtles. Growing up in and around Pittsburgh Pa I would come across snappers a lot in ponds and some lakes in the area . I just recently discovered how intelligent they are . But I always loved them

I bought a hatchling snapping turtle 3 years ago. I unfortunately had to let her go after 2 years here in Michigan. One of the most interesting pets I’ve ever had and I am a huge fan.

Snapping turtles took the place of Diamondback Terrapins in the soup pot during the early 1900’s. All the Diamondbacks were released into the waterways of the Northeastern US when the soup processing plants were closed. People who still wanted turtle soup would just go out and catch their own snappers. My first turtles were also a (baby) Snapper and an Eastern Box Turtle caught way-back-when in Suffolk County LI, NY.

Just a tip for you aquatic keepers if you put those dried shrimp in and you can't get them to sink for your pets, cheap effective tool. Go to Walgreens or what ever local drug store and ask for a yanker syringe. Put the food in the syringe suck up enough water to cover the dried food then block the nozzle and pull the plunger. It's gonna look like the food is boiling for a second. It's not that is all the air escaping the food when you let the air back into the syringe the food will sink. This also a great way to get medication into the food even if you are just trying to add vitamins give it a shot.
