Kampong Phluk Village Siem Reap Boat Ride

This video started with a drone shot of our boat traveling on Tonle Sap lake in Siem Reap Province. It's a huge lake connected to Mekong River, a big reservoir and great places for freshwater fishes that support the freshwater foods to most part of Cambodia and local communities. Our boat is traveling back to the flooded forest and continued to Kampong Phluk floating village back to boat port. The flooded forest of Kampong Phluk is just fascinating and floating village is unique and peaceful. People here make a living by fishing and provide tourism services to local and International tourists. Kampong Phluk is a great place for boat tours to enjoy stilted houses and lives on the water. We can only take this boat ride in Rainy season. In dry season, most of this field is a huge rice fields and farm lands. It's a must visit place in Siem Reap Province in Cambodia.
In this video, i used GoPro Hero 5 Black, DJI Phantom 3 Standard, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7.

Does the water do down during the dry season? Or is it flooded year round?

Yes it does. This can happen in rainy season only. It's usually flooded 6 months

Thank you vey much. I used to be thee in dry season and get to a stilted restaurant on top of the trees. It's around 10meters deep.

Each home have 1 or 2 boats as they live depends on fishing and tourism services.
