anyone know what type of yarn is good for making crochet sweaters?

Wool is an obvious choice unless you're allergic or don't wanna use animals fibers. Any type of wool blend will keep you warm. Mohair and cashmere are great and so soft too but are a little expensive and animals fibers. Acrylic by it self or a blend also works well and it is very affordable.
