I support your comment. Honestly if I buy something for 100 or 200 I don't expect it to last 1yr. I have 3 kids I can't necessarily afford expensive items esp because I know they will be damaged when the kids are still learning how to use items or when they are playing.

Some of that stuff was poor quality (you can tell from the prices), most of the items you don't know how to use, some items are spoilt coz you used them for the wrong purpose (hot water in jugs meant for cold water) or with wrong items (metallic spoons on nonstick pots and scrubbing them), and also you can't blame sellers for things you lost in your house eg missing straws or lids of water bottles lol. Honestly you've just out grown most of those items. Tastes change with time but that doesn't make most of the things bad. Nice review though. I now know not to buy that wall sticky thingy with hooks

Just came across your content today. KZbin recommendation. Honestly, some items can be repurposed. Others like the water jug are okay, it's just that your taste has changed. The serving spoons can be used when you have guests. Other items ni kujua hujui kutumia.. Overall, I feel like the video was more of a decluttering video than a worst buy.

At 41:30... it really comes in handy in peeling off hard things like butter nut or pumkin, its among the very few peelers that don't break. But if your not cooking much of such baby foods, you might not need it around.

I think people go to Kamukunji with the notion of getting 'cheap' items and end up compromising on the quality. I recommend researching the brands of products you want to purchase. There are very many small and cute items so it's important to have a shopping list to avoid impulse buying.
