Wooden spikes are OP in this mod. I’ll use a ptera to surround the nest in them, grab the egg, let the parents die, and head out. Also, killing ankys gives all the chitin

Hmmmmmm. It should work? Are you playing it on single player and have it as the 1st mod in your list? You can also try -preventhibernation for a while to see if things spawn in.
