I’ve been self taught with nunchucks and probably a expert but not a master, as been using nunchucks for many years now. Nunchucks are crucial if you want to improve reflexes and hard eye coordination to complete daily tasks without having any issues. the original purpose of the ring pommel was likely to be lost though it continued in later period designs as a tradition

Yeah the weapon that we have in our school that we call the 'Executioner's Knife' is the one that some people call the Da Dao, the one that's a bit like that shape but with the longer blade and the two-handed grip...
