But then Aqua humbled her with his acting, which then leads to her career declining due to her competitive nature. She reacted badly when Aqua gave her a reality check and had an outburst on set which then affected her reputation negatively. I think part of the reason why she ended up having a crush on Aqua is because she felt grateful towards him for keeping her grounded even though it was unintentional. Her obsession turned into gratitude, then that gratitude turned into something else.

I've been led to believe that Aqua and Ruby end up having some incest moments, and the prevelance of the memes surrounding it has me thinking they also become the main "romance." Aqua x Ruby isn't going anywhere, that is why it's such a bad part, aka and mengo just kept on teasing it but never went anywhere with it,it has barely any significance at all. It's just like they are a waste of chapters to me, they could have handled sarina and Goro's and Aqua and Ruby's relation in a better way. Yeah they did kiss for the movie but Aqua had a dream in a recent chapter with Goro and he confirmed that "as Aqua" he could never see her anything other than his sister. So, don't worry about the incest. There are only two possible choices for Aqua, vengeance or Kana. There is nothing else.
