Pranam friend. Please note the following. ‘कानडा’ (kānaḍā) has four meanings in Marathi language. They are वेडावाकडा , दुर्बोध , कर्नाटकी , एक राग ! In this दुर्बोध means ‘difficult to be understood’, ‘unfathomable’. Taking the meaning as ‘From Karnataka’ or ‘unfathomable’ was a choice for us too. And we went with the meaning ‘unfathomable’ because many ‘Mahatmas/Gurus’ suggested us to do so. These Mahatmas are beyond any regional bias and are drenched in the ‘Vitthala-tattva’. Looking at these things as ‘history’ gives you just some mundane experience and mundane satisfaction. But when you see ‘Vittala’ as ‘unfathomable’ that gives you Highest experience and Highest satisfaction. The meaning ‘unfathomable’ even correlates with the next line of the song, which says ‘Even Vedas fail to gauge His boundaries’. This is what they suggested us. Just like how these Mahatmas love this, I too personally love to see Bhagavan Vitthala as Unfathomable, because such beautiful meanings often come in Veda-Upanishads, Bhagavad-Gita and all the other scriptures. Bhagavan as Unfathomable gives immense satisfaction, than the historical perspective of limiting the Unlimited! You have all the freedom, to have your perspective on this. Prayers, Kuldeep.

This is what amazes me the most about Kuldeep ji's training. Young singers singing songs in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati in addition to Sanskrit and Hindi. And in every language their pronounciation is flawless. Even the stotras recited by really young kids with very difficult Sankrit sandhis are pronounced without a single glitch.
