Kanagawa, how to play (In English)

In Kanagawa we are panting beautiful paintings. It's a light strategi game for 2-4 players and takes about 45 min. to play.

Thanks for the introduction to Kanagawa! Here’s a helpful and quick overview of the game in 100 words! :-) 1) Pass or pickup card(s) in column progressively dealt to rows 1, 2 and 3 in draw pile - each with painting (landscape, animals, people, houses, trees, seasons) and skills (specific landscape skill, add brush, move a brush to different landscape skill, pick-first privilege). 2) Play cards to acquire skills or use skills to sequentially add painting to mural to reach 11+ paintings. 3) Earn points on number of paintings + length of longest sequence of paintings with same season + harmony points displayed on cards + points for each diploma you claim first for specific painting and skill combinations (some come with tools & season wildcard).

This is really good thanks! I think there's a small mistake - when taking some of the diploma cards, you don't get there assistant pawn, but the grand master pawn (it gives you points at the end of the game), right?

Thanks for watching the video. When you receive a diploma card with a pawn on it, you will take the assistant pawn (15:42 and 17:09) then at the end of the turn, when all players have had their turn, then the player with the assistant pawn will receive the grand master pawn. Only the player, at the end of the game, that has the grand master pawn will receive points for it ;-)
