You have entire battalions like the 115th and 49th infantry brigades in the verge of mutiny, every time the uaf tries to bring air defenses/ new infantry divisions or armored vehicles they get blown up by either iskanders or fpv drones, and since avdiivka the rf has been advancing nonstop. But the US MUST maintain its technological and logistical edge and can not send its best or even secret weapons into a war it is not fighting.
