And it went as expected, fishing in germany is just way worse than swedish fishing. We just dont have the same amount of fish here. Sometimes I look at sweden or dutch videos and feel like Im doing something wrong because I dont catch 10 pikes a day.

@@melonytoni9016 they went to a good lake i think. Where you will either catch realy big ones or none. Sometimes you are lucky sometimes you are not

@@melonytoni9016 it's all about location. Population in Germany is way more dense and therefore more places are more pressured. Find a remote location and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I have the same problem over here in Ontario, Canada. Keep at it my friend✊

@@sarafingal1323 You are welcome! Your fishing Videos have been a joy to watch and learn. I just learned through ancestry that all my ancestors are from Denmark and Sweden! I have fishing in my DNA!! So I had to check to see how the fishing is in the land where my ancestors come from! You can imagine the excitement I had finding your You Tubes! I can see now why I have fishing in my blood. Sweden is so beautiful and the fishing is great! We have perch and walleye here but they are no where near the size of your perch and zander!! We do have Huge muskie and pike though! In Lake St.Clair, 130 cm muskies are not uncommon...and 100 cm pike are pretty regular. Taking you out on the lake would be my pleaseure and what a thrill to come to Sweden one day. Thank you again for your videos. I look forward to seeing more and learning more about the land I come from!!!!!

I recommend using type medical nitrile gloves under the fingerless wool gloves. They keep your hands dry and you do not loose the touch! Cheap way to keep your hands warm in the coldest conditions!

@@sweynforkbeard8857 basically yes. You have to release fish under the limit of course but the law says you need to have a good reason to harm an animal, like eating for example. So you are not allowed to only fish for fun here really. But sometimes fish are slippery ;)

Hopefully you are able to fish some place where catch and release fishing is mandated and you will see for yourself how well this works to preserve the quality of the fishery.

Jag har en fråga, är Catch&release fiske tillåtet i Tyskland?

Nej tyvärr inte. bara om fisken har inte nått minimal matt. Det är en stor diskussion i Tyskland varför man kan inte köra c&r. De store fiskar har jo en bättre reproduktionsförmågan. I några delstater finns ett ” fångst fönstret”. Det betyder att man måste tar fiskar vilka hamna i detta storlek. Till ex gös kan har ett fönster mellan 40 och 65 cm. Varför det finns inget c&r? Fiske ska gäller bara för att fixa mat. Man måste döda fisken så snabbt och skonsam det går utan att fisk ska lida i onödan. Däremot går c&r när man utsätter en fisk till mycket stress och smärta (om de känner som människa?). Jag bor nu i Sverige och jag är glad att jag kan välja själv om jag ta en fisk eller om jag ska göra en c&r. Många tyskar fiskare kör faktiskt c&r, men det är faktiskt mot lagen.

Rather would go after the salmon. Sweden is the one of the best countries for atlantic salmon. Pike are only scavengers.

Pike, scavengers? Yes they scavenge sometimes but almost all of the time they hunt for baitfish up to half their own size. Salmon is a very fun sport fish but pike is way more aggressive.
