Kanazawa Tokugawa Ieyasu's Ozaki Shrine neighborhood

The deities of Ozaki Shrine are Amaterasu Ōmikami, Ōkuninushi Ōmikami, Tosho Daigongen (Tokugawa Ieyasu), Maeda Toshitsune (the third lord of Kaga Domain), and Suesha Toyouke Inarisha (Toyouke Ōmikami). The history begins when Maeda Mitsutaka, the 4th lord of Kaga Domain, enshrined his great-grandfather, Tosho Daigongen (Tokugawa Ieyasu), in Kanazawa Castle, and with the permission of the shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu, it was built in the castle in the 20th year of Kanei (1643).
