This mantra is one of the most well-known mantras that you would hear during a Mangal Aarti is Karpur Gauram Karunavtaaram. This ancient Sanskrit Shloka is also known as the Shiva Yajur Mantra, related to Lord Shiva. One of the four Vedas, Yajurveda, has the chant Karpur Gauram Karunavtaaram.
कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारं संसारसारम् भुजगेन्द्रहारम् ।
सदावसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे भवं भवानीसहितं नमामि ॥
हे शिव,
आप कपूर की भांति शुद्ध सफ़ेद है,
आप करुणा के अवतार,
तुम हो | सांसारिक अस्तित्व का सार,
तुम्हारी माला नागों का राजा है,
आप हमेशा हृदय के कमल के अंदर निवास कर रहे है, मैं शिव और शक्ति को
एक साथ नमन करता हूँ|
Meaning :
Shiva, known as Karpragaura, is as pure as camphor.
Karuvatra describes someone who embodies compassion and personifies it.
The essence of all creation is known as sansarsaram.
The individual wearing the serpent king’s garland is known as bhujagendra haram.
Hridaya aravinde, also known as sadvasanta, means “in heart” (pure in the form of lotus). On the other hand, Lotus is born in muddy water and remains unaffected by the mud around it. Just as Lord Shiva always resides in the hearts of creatures, the events of the world do not impact anyone.
I bow Parvati and Shiva to the God Bhavnsahita Nammi in the form of the Goddess Bhavani.
Benefits Of Chanting This Mantra
As mentioned in Shiv Puranas, the benefit of chanting the mantra Karpur Gauram Karunavtaaram Mantra has miraculous benefits. The Shiv mantra, founded in Yajurveda, is the mantra.
The advantages we get from chanting this auspicious mantra are:
The mantra chanted by the devotees helps to improve concentration.
If you chant the mantra daily you will get rid of the path of trouble.
The Shiv mantra helps people to deal with complicated challenges and situations in life.
Worshipping Lord Shiva through the Karpur Gautam mantra assists with the psyche, developing fixation and concentration.
To adjust to the universe and within us, the auspicious Shiva mantra assists.
NOTE :
Lord Shiva, as the compassionate manifestation, easily pleases his followers with their prayers. It is thought that by repeating the mantra every day, you can accomplish anything with perseverance.
