YES! YES! YES! I have recently discovered Kandace (okay, I'm a bit out of touch sometimes), but when I heard her sing some slow ballads I felt very strongly that she could pull this song off ( Roberta's version stands as something deeply spiritual and memorizing for me). Imagine my excitement when KZbin's algorithm brought this video up for me today. Kandace did this song solid justice. She showed respect for the original version while at the same time putting her amazingly sensitive yet powerful touch on it. Her voice has an amazing quality. I found her performance memorizing as well. Her piano work on this piece was sublime. Combine all this with her natural, unadorned beauty and she has me spellbound...
