Kander Valley Heritage Railway End of the day

The hustle and bustle of the day's driving is over. The last train has arrived at the terminus. Now the final work for the team has to be done. A calm, very unique mood sets in. I really enjoy watching it. In Kandern, the wagons have to be maneuvered into the hall and the steam locomotive is already being prepared for the next day of travel before it is "shut down".
