@@zanjaya1 im a sri lankan and i have to agree on ur statement. the main problem is with the mindset of majority of the people in sri lanka. they just say that they love their country but no one would do anything to develop or protect the country. there are only few people who would actually follow the rules. and those who do follow the rules and those who want to see this country actually going somewhere will eventually be fed-up by seeing people that act like complete idiots. politicians have destroyed this country from the beginning.Sri lanka is a beautiful country with plenty of resources but none of those matters if the people who are in it wont do anything to push this country forward. although i agree to ur statement dont call us stupid its the system that is stupid not every single sri lankan is stupid.

@@TheLastTraveller yes I really enjoyed the video, i always like local markets to explore, only one thing I can't appreciate from video is bargaining with those common people who are fruit sellers from Rs.120 to Rs.100 because Rs.20 is hardly few cents for a european , but for the average or low income people Rs.20 matters much I guess.

Kandy Market is still the same as it was back in my childhood days. Larger pot holes and it's a dirty place when it is raining. It is high time the KMC or the Urban Council or what ever to make it a better place.

I do not refuse to buy at vendor's initial price. It is just a habit to bargain at the market, and this habbit doesn't depend on the country where I am. Again, I do not insist on my price. It is a market, for example if I buy lime for 200 rupees but I see later, in the distance of 100 meters, the same lemons for 100 rupees, why should I buy them for 200? It is wrong. Next time I will ask the vendor which sells by 200 rupees to give me a discount or I will walk just 100 meters and will buy the lime for 100 rupees from another vendor without any bargains. Let the vendor decide, I do not insist. :) I bargain with respect. I do not insist on my price. Moreover, I do not have a machine which printing rupees. :) I am an ordinary man who needs rupees to make a living also.
