Kidney stones - I’ve had issues with kidney stones a couple times and your pain description sounds exactly like it. What I was told in the ER was that when the stone is blocking the tube that is what causes the pain and I’ve had that happen where the pain resolves but I don’t notice passing a stone. It’s possible the stone is just blocking the top of the tube and then dislodges back into the kidney. Hydrating and avoiding triggers has kept it from being an issue for me again. I hope that you don’t continue having that kind of pain!

I do enjoy these longer videos. Yes, the pantry swap was a great idea! In case you care, you don't pronounce the g in aglio, which means garlic and olio is oil. It's an italian dish we make using pasta with a garlic and olive oil "sauce" if you will. Happy New Year, you two!

Hey Kandy, lasagna should be a minimum of at least 4 layers, which is why your lasagna was so flat. The extra pasta would soak up some of the liquid too!

He doesn't watch movies, just animal shorts and his game. But we are happy and I always watch you! You make my day and you make me smile! We can't have cats here and so I live watching yours. That lasagna looks delicious! But I am on a strict 1,200 calorie diet for rest of my life. I've lost almost 200 pounds. Started at 400. I'm healthier now and happier. And smaller clothes look nice. I know it is a bit more expensive, but instead of the cottage cheese, try farmer cheese in the lasagna mixture. The “liquids” have been taken out. I find no problems with farmer cheese that i did with even lactose free dairy products. By the way, i like your channel. A pleasant place to visit.

Just a thought on the wire rack that the dishes are on. How about getting a wooden cabinet with shelves and doors on it. That way you can close the doors and you won’t see the things on the shelf. Just a thought, I know what it’s like living in a small space with not very much storage. My current house has the same issue.

Hi Kandy, next time just use besciamella not cream cheese...for an original taste of lasagna. In Italy we just use ragu' sauce, besciamella and parmigiano for the lasagna dressing.
