It went from too easy to use too hard to use and honestly it was more fun to use when it was too easy. Seeing that stream of lil numbers before the target blew up was satisfying. Now it feels like you're mentally juggling too much with leading the target, feathering the charge, the bullet travel time. When it comes down to it, you can do more damage more effectively and in a shorter time with either the longbow or sentinel. Wonder if introducing a new hop-up to revert it to the past version would work or even just making the hit scan a toggle for slightly lower damage.

About the charge rifle: take away the dropoff-- it's a laser, it should go straight the whole way-- and reduce the charge time. That will make it something that people will even consider taking over a sentinel, but even then I doubt it.

Note for anyone looking to use the charge rifle one of the reasons it can feel off is it has a higher projectile velocity than the other snipers sitting at 851 Meters per second compared to the sentinel at 787 and the longbow at 750. so you need to lead your shot less than the other snipers.

I think they need to either need to revert the changes or they need to allow you to hold it's charge/decrease the time it takes to charge. Youre not winning any duels with other snipers unless you're both using the charge rifle.

The charge rifle is a good gun for closer ranges as well as far ranges due to it having almost no hip fire inaccuracy allowing it to be used at close to long range with the highest damage of all snipers except kraber allowing it to be good while being different and taking a lot of skill I can now almost hit it hip fire consistently and hit a head shot

I feel like the big issue with charge rifle as it is now is the incredibly long charge time and the extreme kick. They either need to reduce the kick from firing significantly to make consecutive shots easier, or they need to reduce the time it takes to charge.

Not to mention you'll be aiming at your target for a while which relies in them not going behind cover. If this strategy was that good, then Havoc would be god tier and everyone would run it over the r-99 even without turbo charger.

How does accuracy % work for the old charge rifle? Does each ammo count as 1/1 or is it divided into the intervals of damage per laser?

I bet that that it counted that final burst at the end that dealt most of the damage. Which actually might mean that people’s accuracy % is going down because of them not using it anymore and losing the skill they had with timing it. Or more likely, not having a line connecting the gun to the target anymore makes it a lot harder to aim for the burst.

i personally think they shoulve left charge rifle as is with a larger magazine but as a care package red weapon with a 2 x4 ard attached .also they need to buff lifeline give her knockdown resurrection shield back but instead this time to make it more balanced it should reflect the person knockdown shield instead of being impenetrable like before or just make the shield protecting them the equivalent of a grey knockdown.her ultimate should be like packer punch from cod where it automatically upgrades what she docent have from gun attachments, knockdown shield which can go hand in hand with passive and armor which it ard does.same can apply to a teammate since their 3 slides you could all get 1 upgrade for that drop or one person get 3 individual upgrades and decrease the ult cool down.

I'd still rather use the Charge Rifle over a Kraber. Kraber bullet shoots stupidly slow. The enemy can finish a dinner for 2 and your shot will still miss by a couple of meters by the time it reaches them. But yeah it's that projectile size that limits it for now. That upcoming projectile size buff is gonna be great for it. Sentinel didn't need it since it was already the most consistent sniper in the game, but I'm also glad it got some love.

I think what makes the charge even more irrelevant is the 30 30 is back and the guns that were already better (sentinel & Longbow) both also got their bullet size increased. If you pick up a charge this season instead of a senti your effectiveness drops significantly and thus the charge remains in the same spot it has been since it’s nerf.
