Cornes was able stick the landing on that one. Damo complete miss, you can see moore reaching for the ball also his body is completely vertical making it hard to take out someone's legs also he did the same thing in the first quarter to great success. Moore was competing for the ball and if kozzy had also competed for the ball it would've been a ball up or melbourne goal.

Made it even worse when we were playing well good exciting brand of footy while knocking teams over in close ones and opposition supporters started to love watching us play and said we were likeable now. Until we got so good we were clear top 4 to minor premiers that's when the hate started again 😂

These Commentators need a reality check, look at it this way, who was the player actually trying to go and do something with the ball by attacking it and trying to knock it on to a team mate, what's Picket doing, once again trying his best to take out an opposition player which he's renowned for. The kid has had a solid year, he started in the backline, was moved around a lot and finished in the midfield. He has done about as was expected for a gun first round pick and frankly, if the umpires opened their eyes and judged him fairly he should have gotten way more free kicks, he was held of the ball every week, his attempts to mark were often deliberately impeded by players bumping into him as he began to jump..... WCE should have taken his poor treatment up with the AFL umpires but they chose not to. Individually - Daicos for the entire 2024 H&A season received 33 free kicks (average 1.7 per game) for and gave away 36 free kicks against. Tristan Xerri -Nth Melbourne - received 54 free kicks (average of 2.35 per game) - the 2nd highest in the AFL in 2024. Top free kick for team & players were the Gold Coast Suns, Matty Rowell (Gold Coast) received the most - 55 free kicks (average 2.39 per game) - Paddy Cripps (Carlton) 48 frees for (average 2.09 frees for per game) But hey - lets not let facts and statistics get in the way of a good rant eh Anthony?
