Kane is one of the most hardworking superstars in WWE history. Also one of the most under-rated wrestlers. No royal rumble win in 17 years! Whereas Stone cold won 3 Royal Rumbles in 8 years. Also he was WWE champion for just fewer no. of times. Kane gave all sacrifices and did everything what he had to do for WWE. This interview pissed me off. Kane is so grateful to the WWE. Seems to that he feels like he doesn't deserve his spot. Hell yeah he doesn't. He is a legend. WWE always shit on Kane's character. He went from an A* wresler to a B+ jobber. WWE doesn't deserve him. You can say that my opinion might be biased cause I'm huge Undertaker fan, so I always loved Kane, but come on now. Kane deserves more. The way they made him, 2 years after he retires, no one will remember him.
@ThuleanManDan989 жыл бұрын
This man will forever be remembered. He is a grade A legend. He was never the "man" of the WWE but he was just below them. He was one of the main guys in the Attitude Era, always over back then. He's loved by fans across the world, people just want him to either mask up again or pack it up and head to the HoF. He is the locker room leader, respected by every one of his peers and no one ever has had beef with him. Also, he said he may run for office as a libertarian candidate so instantly people will recognise him from the WWE.

@LSD_939 жыл бұрын
+Giorgos Apoel You've gotta remember that he's slowing down a lot now, a lot like the Big Show, and even Taker himself. Just saw a video of Kane's "comeback" or something from a few days ago, and watching him in the ring...he's definitely not what he used to be. I think that's why he fell down the card in recent years. He can't carry a match on his huge shoulders anymore, so he's taking a break. Doesn't excuse what the WWE did with him, though. If they'd just taken him off and used him like Taker (big scary guy who rarely shows up, but with a huge impact), then they could have preserved everything about his character instead of...whatever the fuck he is now.
@laggerg9 жыл бұрын
LSD I think Undertaker is off the cards, I believe, because he's just not trying to sell as big as he has done in the past. Granted he may be slowing down, he is 50 years old now, but he is another smart wrestler looking down the line at his future outside of the ring. Which a lot of wrestlers don't do. Even Abdullah The Butcher said in a shoot interview that pro wrestling is a dirty business. He, Undertaker, holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, involved in the UFC, has done some acting, made money in real estate, and with his ex-wife Sara, started a veterinary fund in Texas A&M for the care of large breed dogs, for he doesn't need to make any bigger in the WWE. No doubt a future WWE Hall of Famer.

Glenn Jacobs is a different kind of wrestler than Mark Calaway. Kane and Undertaker are both legends, but different types and they contrast each other so well despite playing such similar and connected characters. There's no way Undertaker would abandon his character so completely to give such an open and honest interview because he lives and breathes kayfabe, he's almost from the old-school era when kayfabe was _literally_ life and death. He's probably a perfectly nice guy, but he can't _be_ one like Glenn can because he's the fuckin' Undertaker, he ain't "nice". They're both on the top of the list of loyal company men, but Glenn is unassuming and modest and has allowed Kane to always be a pillar of the company but never a real superstar, no matter how much he may have deserved it, and unquestioningly did his job no matter how hard it was (Katie Vick anyone?). Undertaker, while just as loyal (it's the reason Vince basically made him the leader of the locker room; say what you like about Vince, he appreciates loyalty) is a man who led from the front because he was one of the best and made the most of the responsibility that came with his power; it's why he was able to get away with threatening to kick Vince's door down after the Montreal Screwjob and saying he'd quit if Vince didn't apologise to Bret Hart for it. Kane and the Undertaker are similar, but different and it's fascinating to look at them together and compare them.

then who the fuck do u consider the number one actor then dumbass ive seen the rock in a lot of movies in 2013 more then ive seen anybody else just saying
@holypoop8810 жыл бұрын
I think Kane was referring to The Rock as the number one actor because he was the highest grossing actor last year.

It's weird seeing the Big Red Machine be the bashful, gracious and down-to-earth man you see in this interview. Just goes to show his ability as a performer to reinvent himself when he's in the ring.

+666deadman1988 I hear Andre the giant was similar. Seems like half of all big guys are gentle giants. Of course the other half are dicks but hey thats life.

This. Taker is shy kind smart and bashful outside the ring. Hard to believe that until you see it. Look up the video where he meets a dying fan. So so sweet.

Kane has had more airtime than any other WWE wrestler, and it's not even close. He's awesome for the business.

Pathetic that they didn't make the Kane character more legendary. He deserved so much more. He was always at the top, just to get knocked off. 1 WWF Championship. 1 World Championship. Are you serious? F*cking Khali held the World Title once! He's been the WWE's punching bag for YEARS now.
@DalleDayul9 жыл бұрын
I've never heard any wrestler criticise or insult Kane or Taker. Wrestlers love Taker because he gets people in-line in the locker room and protects rookies; they love Kane because he's always willing to put over young or new wrestlers and shows nothing but respect to his colleagues. Two of the most menacing wrestlers in history, also two of the nicest.

One of my absolute favorite things about Kane is that while Kane is one of the biggest, meanest, most evil and at times eccentric Characters in WWE History (not to mention one of the best), Glenn Jacobs, Kane the PERSON, is straight up, like... Boring. I find that hilarious. He's that guy that tucks his T Shirt in & has really good table manners, & for some reason to me that's just really funny & makes him even that much better

Kane is such a class act. His size and all you'd think he'd be very one track. But you know? I'd totally have a drink with that lad. Hes as much a legend as any other. And think, how long hes been with the company and wrestling.

This is why I enjoy Cooperate Kane so much, much like I enjoyed the Undertaker's American Badass. I enjoy the performers more when they play characters closer to their real personalities and who they are away from the arena.

When Kane smiles his cheeks... seem like they're portruding and a turning a little reder than the rest of his face. I find it funny, that Kane, the Big Red Machine, one of the most brutal characters in WWE who set people on fire has these cute little rosy, cartoony cheek like he's right out of a cartoon from the 40's.
