*Devil's Tongue tanks?* 😑 Those are Tiberian Sun units. You meant Flame Tanks, right? _(still wish they were more creative with the naming, like Chimera Tanks or something)_

@@MrDibara If Im remembering it right, all flame tanks in Nod's arsenal are from the Devil's Tongue line of vehicles. And if not, well.. imagining it is like that makes it a lot better than just calling something "Flame tank Mark " :D ..and i mainly played at the time with the Tiberium Essence mod, which if I remember it right replaced the default TW3 flame tanks with Devil's Tongue tanks (or you could call one in via special power. Its been 5 years x-x)

@@shoulderpyro Not exactly. They're both tanks with flame weaponry, but the Devil's Tongue could bury tunnels and travel underground. Plus, it was quite sturdier. The Tiberium Wars Flame Tank _(which, again, I still wish it was called something like "Chimera Tank")_ feels like a step backwards, going back to the formula used by Nod's flaming tanks on the 1sr Tib War rather then try to improve upon the one from the 2nd Tib War. So yeah, calling this tank a Devil's Tongue tank is pretty innaccurate. It lacks the most key feature that tank used to have, underground travel and sneaking. Flame Tank it is. Even though I hate the simplistic name, it IS the correct one for this tank. Sorry, semanthics, but I think the distinction is important.

I remember how mind blown I was the first time I let the sniper die, and I selected the unit. "My partner's dead." That's just an awesome detail that most games wouldn't think to add for unit dialogue. And the lines+voice acting for the spotter, (and the extreme contrast between his panic and the sniper's calmness) creates a very real sense of tension. You hear the spotter and you NEED him to survive.

Since spotter has much lesser hp than sniper, it's less likely for you to hear spotter's lines. So I was astonished when I heard these lines for the first time

Juggernaut and Sniper duos are great! The only drawback is if the sniper dies, you have to live with the consequences. No other unit makes you feel. Thank god for the armory.

It only happened twice to me where the shooter would die but the spotter lives and i would get interesting dialogue But it baffles me that he seems unsure about what to do next, in the real real world, snipers and spotters are trained the same so they have the same level of training and skills. I get hes by himself but they should be trained in SERE, as being a scout sniper is not for the average soldier. Theyre supposed to be better than the average soldier
