Ok, I admit, most people consider me a roughy. Woodworker, thick skinned, Carhart type of guy etc., but 3/4 of way thru this, I've already gone thru half a box of friggin' kleenex! My wife and I have been married for 80 years. Ok, 29 but I tell people it's 80. My favorite saying to her: "you're not the boss of me every decade". We have a wonderful marriage. I wouldn't trade her for the world. She's my best friend. I tell her I love her every day. I think one of the keys to a long lasting relationship is knowing when to let go of silly issues, treating each other as you want to be treated and constantly taking that extra step to make them happy, safe, and loved. Congrats to you both. Best wishes for a wonderful everlasting marriage.
