Sounds like an expensive way to do it. Just keep a handkerchief in your top pocket. Then, after dinner, undo your trousers so some daffodils pop out A comedic treat for your eating companions.

I never used to but since the age of 40 I do have more dining issues! So yes either kitchen roll or tissues
@tigthecatuk8611 Жыл бұрын
Or there is ones that don't need a tissue because we don't dribble, that have perfected the art of shoving food in our faces without the need for tissue

The big issue for me is people that pick their teeth at the table, pull it out and examine it, and then shove it back in.
@CreamyBeige Жыл бұрын
I know someone who does this with their own hair. They finish eating, pull a long strand from their head and floss their back teeth. In front of everyone. Its the most vile thing. They also use their cola or drink to swish and gargle after their dinner and swallow it. The amount of times I have wanted to just vomit all over them…

Depends on the food your eating. I call it a win if I can eat my spaghetti hoops without getting any on my shirt. And if I do the kitchen towel is there as a blotter.

I don't dribble when I eat. When I'm in a restaurant, I use the napkin for my lap just in case a drip from my fork should ruin my best clothes. Just don't dribble! Weirdo.🙄

I’m confused by the logistics of this kitchen roll thing, did you share one square of the roll between you? Is that really a thing? In my house you get a tissue or something if you need one.

We were too poor to afford kitchen roll in the 70s but saying that, we never ate like peasants desperate to shovel in food before it was stolen from us. We were taught at 2 years old to eat small amounts at a time, not talk with our mouthful and to close our mouths properly after food was inserted. Whilst masticating, allowing the lips to part encourages dribbling, which is disgusting 🫣 😂

@ChorltonandtheWheelies Жыл бұрын
Are you eating soup with a fork? If you are a sports person then good hand to mouth coordination is key - for eating dinner? Not so much. Unless you're a toddler or a very old person with the shakes - the rest of us manage to transport food (from a plate in front of us) to our mouths successfully. Times when napkins/serviettes/ kitchen roll are necessary - eating ribs, chicken wings, chicken drumsticks. Spaghetti Bolognese and Garlic bread can be a bit messy and citrus fruits where the juice gets everwhere. In conclusion - you sound like you haven't mastered the difficult art of putting food on cutlery then putting it in your gob 🙄😉✌
