This version kinda feels like a _It's a little sad, but still I had a lot of fun "See you later!"_ compared to the original's _I don't want to, but I have to, say "Farewell"._ This is probably the first time I popped a smile listening to this song in a long time, since I associate it with a pretty bad time in my life. A time when I felt like I had to say goodbye to my childhood and the dreams I associated with it. Yorushika was probably the only constant thing with me back then, and while it helped me stay afloat, the experience really did stain my favorite song of theirs, Say It. This version, however, changes it up enough so that the feelings I have that surround this song kinda distort into a different emotion. A hopeful kind of melancholy? A "maybe my aspirations are still with me after all this time" kind of feeling. I don't know if I'll actually be able to fulfill that "see you later," but I do know that this cover put a smile on my face and in my heart. Thanks for the wonderful work, Lumi! ✨
