I’m sooooo glad I found your video, because it saved my paintings this week! I was initially using a foam brush, but then I decided to try the “tray method” with the tape around the canvas and tilting the varnish around and pouring it off the corner and for bigger canvases it gave me these little cracks!! After I watched your video and applied the varnish exactly how you did it, my next painting turned out perfectly!! Maybe the “tray method” works good for resin (I’ll watch your video for that), but I will never stray away from the “foam brush when varnishing” path again! Thank you!! 🥰

Hi Kanella… I know your in the process of moving but I had a question if you have time. The painting canvas that sweet Lucas handed to you was GORGEOUS!!!! You said it was using Sheeleart (??) … I wondered if you have a video of that beauty and do you recommend the SheleArt coarse would I learn how to do that canvas??. Kanella I love Dutch pours and I know your videos by heart.. I know video #63 is awesome I refer it to everyone asking about mixing paints. Anyway, I hope your family and you have many great new adventures and memories in your new home. Thank you for all you do for us. God Bless 😍😍

Unfortunately I don’t know if there’s a video. I can’t really remember what I did over two years ago lol. Sorry. As for the Shelee class - it’s entirely up to you. Yeah, I started going back to your older videos as well. I was just turned onto this art form around May or June of last year. I fell in love with it and have been trying my hand at it since then. Love watching you, love all the beautiful paintings you put out, and am grateful for your suggestions, techniques, and your humor. Love the pups and have watched Juno's channel as well. I absolutely love that you said the back of a canvas tells a story! I did a custom order for a close friend when they dried enough to show him in person he wanted them right away while i was like I FORGOT TO TAPE THE BACK OF THIS AND IT'S GROSS. He did bat an eye, and said the same about no one else will see it. .... QUESTION Do you use any type of covers like plastic bins to keep dust from settling into the varnish? Covering resin pendants was a breeze as they were tiny, I'm not sure how to cover the random sizes of canvases and i swear no matter how much a sweep and dust it's neverending. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED! great video!
