for those wondering: Fiets's zeepkist and appearance are based on an upcoming dutch holiday called "koningsdag" or "Kingsday" His cart is made to look like a tompouce, a dutch dessert made of 2 sheets of puff pastry, a huge layer of cream in between them and with a usually pink glace topping. but in April we make them orange. The orange balloon crown is also something people can be seen wearing during kingsday.

So that zamboni question interested me, and I went and looked it up. They do infact surface a bobsled track MANUALLY, there is no machine. They do it a lot like mudding drywall but with slush and water instead of mud, and it can take several hours.

Great track kAN, impressive work! If I can come with some constructive criticism of your driving. You're behind on most corners whenever the direction changes, you're either in the middle or even more to the inside of the corner before the turn comes. Especially before the first big jump, you're even getting an audio feedback (the clanging) when you jump from inner edge directly into the outer wall of the turn. Watching the Dev's playback (very nice touch!) they've placed their car for the coming corner better than you did. In other words, they've planned and are prepared to take the corners. I think the main difference between your practices and the recorded session was the stress and loss of focus towards what the others did instead of what you were doing. But you're making videos as content for your KZbin channel, so ignoring what the others are doing isn't an option for you. Both having someone else who did the running commentary or you not participating doesn't seem like viable options either. Great video, well done track and with my sincere wish to help you. Take care and stay safe!

To add to this: Sometimes you have to be slower at some corners/parts to be faster in the others. I think he focused too much on being faster in the first section.

So . . . based on a few of your previous videos, I know you're a fan of the Hadron Collider. What about making just a downward spiral that's at super high speed that kind of emulates a centrifuge as best you can get in a soapbox car racing game? I mean you could do like a 4 leaf clover kind of design and swap turning directions, but I think having just a spiraling course similar to this that is just long and full speed would be cool.

@altaem91522 жыл бұрын
I've spent 3 hrs on that track, finished it only 5 times. Did mean that when you claimed you'd made that last jump I knew you were traveling too slow. 145 is the minimum speed to clear to the finish.

>doesnt go too high on walls >Makes sure not to swing his back wheels out On one of these Zeepkist videos you made a backwards track and mentioned that the physics engine tries to auto straighten the cars by adding drag to the back wheels, so swinging the back out probably lowers the speed (rather than drifting mechanics being a thing)
@pccc54312 жыл бұрын
so the strat is to treat it like a wall ride, have a smooth transition from mid to low to mid when hitting those corners, but that's just what I think

@Kan So nostalgic rewatching this video and realizing it was before Unique started joining in on yalls streams and you just refer to him as "the dev". LMAO
@wubberson44502 жыл бұрын
Coming from a game like Trackmania, I’d say that a 2:01.2 is the upper limit of the fastest time on this track. But then again, even the dev’s 01.6 wasn’t perfect, he lost a lot of speed, so maybe 2 mins or a sub 2 IS possible.
@trickygamer5552 жыл бұрын
The physics are apparently also a little bit random so sub 2 might be possible with better rng maybe?

Cool you got to try out the track with freands and strangers! I understand a bit what you went through when making the track. I never played this game before, but I played Hot Wheels Unleashed for some months. You can create tracks like in Trackmania and this game. Only problem you have to get 5 likes on the track for it to come in a multiplayer lobby. And it is random when it will show up. And you also vote between 5 tracks each race. Its a shame because I used 3 days on a track similar to this. But much easier. So ye. I got 0 likes. Then an other day I used 10 min. to make an other track and it got 7 likes. Anyway its cool to see this game has the right solution for this. Looks like you can make your own lobbies. In Hot Wheels Unleashed you can only join random lobbies. So that might be the problem. But I still had a lot of fun with that game.

het zou wel leuk zijn als je misschien die blokken kunt stellen in hoogte en breedte. en denk dat het ook wel helpt met lag als mensen nog grotere dingen gaan maken :) would be a nice idea if you could manipulate the blocks to make them taller and bigger to create a larger platform, in the long run, if people make bigger stuff it will also help with the lag.
