How fast he goes by reminded me of a blink and you miss it moment in the anime Project A-Ko when a large alien spaceship is desending on the city, the local military goes firing missels at it thinking they're attacking, when the aliens are actualy looking for their lost princess. As we pane along the side of the spaceship we see a pair of Pepsi cans flying by each on screen for only a frame or two.

And if you were to set the store alarm off, it's pretty obvious you're in there, or at least were in there at one point before using that alt entrance to escape. And of course, this isn't even counting the fact the seeker could just break the glass to get in the dead end store.
