At my sunset years,I profusely search always to find those golden era films in utube to see those films. I have also requested Odisha Archive to collect, restore and upload those films in its utube space.Till date all my search and requests has failed.In case of Hindi and other languages old classical movies were mostly available even refurbished and HD quality.But it is a matter of great sadness,nobody from our state with resources and technical knowledge have attempted to do the same to preserve our heritage films.Even the culture deptt.of Govt of Odisha has not taken any steps so far.It is our primary duty to preserve and show those jewels for general public to know and view.

The same happens with me too. I am blind fan of songs of old movies either odia or hindi. But matter to regret that all most songs of hindi movies are available in you tube , in case of odia movies it is a big failure in my part. I failed getting old songs of songs of Arati Mishra, Dibakar Mohanty, Mala Bose and others. Some odia very old songs are either available on record from but it is never uploaded in social media. Reason of not uploading is not understood. Even I searched some duets of Akhaya Mohanty , Raghunath Panigrahy in Cuttack Akashvai touching some officials working there but not available. They replied very simple way that it is already destroyed. Now question comes out if Bollywood is able to store it why not Ollywood? Radio ceylone can able broadcast old songs every day but Akashvani Cuttack which is old station of Odisha never takes pain to broadcast it. "Sunantu kichhi abhula puruna odia gita puni chlu karajau pratidina"
