That road was originally built in 1883. I don't see much that they could have done better. It looks vulnerable to mudslides, and cutting into the hills to get farther from the river would make that worse. I'm not sure what they'll do to fix it. I guess the options are build bridges, fill in where it washed out, or relocate the road (likely cutting into the hillsides). Whatever they do, I can't imagine they'll get it open this year.

One has to ask WHY the huge floods in Yellowstone Park Region?? AND SO I DID SOME DIGGING!! Why this historic flood in the 2.2-million-acre park occurred is a list of several factors (1) The region had an above record snowfall this winter (2) In the spring that snowpack had been melting into rivers and streams (3) The past week unusual higher temperatures topped the region (4) An entire months' worth of pouring rain topped the region in just a matter of several days. One would think that WEATHER EXPERTS would have seen this coming!

@@tiadavenport5465 Do you know there has been uplifting in yellowstone for years? The roads are even melting. Do you know that large rain amounts caused Kilauea to erupt? The rain seeped down 3km into the volcanic rock.. when the rain seeps down into the pores of the volcanic rock it builds up more pressure. When rock is wet it breaks and melts easier. Thus making a volcanic eruption more likely than before. If you follow the earthquakes on the USGS you can see the earthquake I am talking about. A 4.6 on the north west pacific plate and the north American plate. That's exactly what starts earthquakes in the yellow stone region. The news will not warn you ahead of time. Now they are telling me my mom is on the way to Canada. Because the KGB guarding her house and security is not a good look. They want to be the hero. They denied my mom a visa a couple of weeks before I was to give birth to my son. Everyone wants mom there at a time like that. There in hospital with you. Plus I had no clue what to do with a knew born. I had no family here at the time. They refused her a visa and she said and I will never forget this, to the Canadian immigration officer - 'This skin. This skin is a curse and a burden from the moment you are born. I can't even be a mom for my daughter and grandson at a time they need me most" - as she pinched her wrist. They said no at such a moment, knowing I needed help - now they are giving her a visa and paying for her to fly here so the Russians that watched over her as they tried to drive me insane in hospital and gave her a 1M - don't look like the hero. Of course if they tell her I am.falling apart, which is a lie - she will drop everything and run to me and Canada or at least my brothers so she doesn't feel so helpless. She will do.that, like she tried to do the last time I needed her and Canada said NO and denied her a visa. I had to cope alone then. So why the sudden and desperate change of heart. Why is my savage mom suddenly helpful and useful to Canada? Hhmmm, what could it be? My mom will be the first to tell you how stubborn I am. You can't shift me. She tried and eventually gave up and let me be. There is nothing she can come to tell me or ask me to do that will help you Canada - NOTHING! I am sure my family has told you about me. They won't even try. They won't even bring it up otherwise they get a dagger slap. They all know it. So whatever your next operation - it is dead on arrival! Not proof read

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them. Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long; they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others. But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted". Matt 23 NIV YOU SHALL NOT MAKE FOR YOURSELF AN IMAGE in the form of anything, in Heaven above or in the Earth beneath, or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them, or worship them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents, up to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me, and keep my commandments. If my people who are called by my name, humble themselves and pray, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, I will hear from Heaven, will forgive their sins, and will heal their land. AND WHEN YOU PRAY DO NOT BE LIKE THE HYPOCRITES, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners, to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. BUT WHEN YOU PRAY, GO INTO YOUR ROOM, close the door, and pray to your Father who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need, before you ask him. This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. "Matthew 5-7 NIV Bible Gateway", we can use google search. These are the teachings, The Righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ our God. REPENT, and start doing what is right. If you abide my teachings, you are really my disciples; then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in Truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. GOD IS SPIRIT, so his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in Truth. In the New Heaven and the New Earth, only Righteousness dwells. May the Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ our God be with you all.
