Chris Hughton a legend and an inspiration. First black man to play international football for Ireland, a socialist and an absolute don. Bravo to Kano for this great interview.

I was born in Forest Gate hospital in 1960, listening to Chris has brought tears to my eyes. I’ve lived in Nottingham for 32 years but Forest Gate will always be home to me. Wanstead Flats, Green Street Market and the Eagle and Child pub 😂😂😂so many memories.

YES!!!!!! Love this, watched all interviews so far. - keep this going man! Fantastic interviews and this guy (Chris H) is one of the most underrated!! Sol Campbell, kojo funds, J Hus, would also be great to see. AND none Newham people like - Linford Christie, akala, Trevor Mcdonald always wanted to see a decent interview from those guys. 🙌🏾 huge respect for doing this.
@TakeMeBackPirateRadio4 жыл бұрын
Akala is from North London. He's not a Newham boy but I still rate him and what he's doing!!
@mrisht23084 жыл бұрын
Yeah he’s not from newham. A video call with TITCH would be good! Also there is an interview with AKALA and Kano from last year which was cool. I want him to do one with Griminal to.

This is a deeply moving and powerful interview. Chris speaking out with such honesty. I tried to find Clarke Carlisle's old documentaries on BBC about racism in football but all the full versions have all be deleted. There are so many horrific stories about racism in football and it's still going on now, although there's more awareness and legislation protecting players/managers/staff, the FA is still way off the mark. Big up Kano for this. Respect Chris!! Great interview!! COYG!!!

Kano is of Jamaican background and Houghton is of Ghanaian and Irish background. Chris is married to a black woman but I don't know her background - possibly a relative of Kano's or just "family" because their families grew up together in that part of the world
@TheOgapatapata4 жыл бұрын
Reading between the lines it sounds like Hughton is good friends with Kanos Uncles or olders. He mentioned “Fortune” who is probably a relative of the old Charlton baller Jonathan Fortune, who is also Kano’s cousin.

Chris Hughton is not a Don. Tha man a Dan! Behind the scene racism has more than likely cost ENG a world Cup or two! Sacked at NU after not just steadying the ship; but converting it into a f*kn off shore racer!! I said it then and ill say it again (NOW) he should have been given the ENG job. Mi seh da bwoi adan. Translation: Absolute Legend. Thank you Chris.
