昔、カノンさんがまだあまり有名でなかったとき、複数のアーティストが参加する合同ライブを見ました。そのライブに参加していたKOKIAさん目当てだったのですが、カノンさんの歌を聴いたときになんて素晴らしいアーティストなんだろうと思いました。カノンさんからKOKIAさんと美声の生歌のリレーが続き、素晴らしい時間を体験させていただきました。

Just because her songs are of religious nature doesn't mean she is specifically Christian. Unless it can be confirmed by her admitting it, or if its written somewhere that she is in fact Christian. You can believe in God or Gods and not be Christian, but still be religious. Did she ever make a public statement that if fact she is a Christian?

I doubt it. She doesn't wear the cross. Mostly Japanese people follow their own religion called Shinto, a very beautiful religion. Its core believe is that all things in existence are of spiritual nature and are interconnected with one another and the whole in one way or another. They have many deities or gods which they call - Kami, in English translated as Spirits, so I guess from monotheistic perspective Shinto is a pagan religion.
