My Great Grandfather fought with the Yankee Division, 101st Regiment. Went over the top 4 times, including during the Meuse-Argonne offensive and the Battle of St. Mihiel. He was shot in the leg during the Meuse-Argonne offensive and his family back home in Iowa presumed him dead. He wrote a letter home to them in 1919 expressing the horror of what he had experienced but pride in his fulfillment of duty to country. He spent the rest of his life farming in South Dakota, never to leave the state or his family again. Can only imagine what he would think of this song lol. RIP Corporal Edgar Vincent Story, 1892-1980.

Fuck dude it's nice to hear something I haven't before that involves Trevor. I'm not ashamed to say I shed a few tears when I found out he passed. I'm so glad he had such a presence and was loved by so many. I'm equally glad he was featured in so many songs from bands outside his own. Was never really into TBDM outside a couple songs, but I always respected them, and Trevor's death hit one of the hardest in recent years, even for me. He touched all corners of the metal scene and was loved by so many just for who he was. I absolutely cried over his passing.
