But she proceeds to try calling his bluff and say it doesn't count since he let her win that one. At which point he just picks up his stuff and walks away without saying a word. She tries to talk to him, but he's just done with it all so he's not really paying attention to any of the words she says. She thinks he'll get over it by the next day in class, but he's still putting on the grouchy silent persona. While walking to school with him, she asks what's wrong. At which point he says that he's done. If she can't just take a win as a win and has to accuse him of letting her win, why should he want to date her. She thinks he's joking, but throughout the day realizes he's dead serious about giving up on his feelings for her. So during lunch, she makes some sort of grand gesture to confess to him to try keeping him from slipping away, which is recorded by a lot of people. With the recordings as evidence, Yuuya drops the act and simply goes up to accept her confession. Telling her that she really needs to stop being so much of a stickler. Thus by getting her to admit she likes him, he outsmarted her in a social scenario. Proving his intellect while also getting her to stop holding herself to an impossible task.

I heard this story from a high school kid that was visiting my college campus. A girl was was doing to this kid almost exactly what Tenna did, aggressively competing with him and harassing him for slacking off. Eventually, the kid snapped and told the girl that he has researched which subjects or experiences matter the most to college admissions (he probably does...he showed me a chain of emails between himself and a prof in my department), that they are not on the same racetrack and her competition is meaningless. He then reprimanded the girl for "not knowing what she is doing" and "not doing her due diligence". I then joked about him turning way a potential gf and the chad (or autist) said he won't put his d*ck in crazy.

Yuuya was letting Tenna win due to what happened in middle school but Tenna was frustrated that he wasn’t taking his tests seriously which made her mad and even threatened to end their relationship if he doesn’t get good scores on the next tests and it turns out he got 100’s. Tenna is really competitive and honestly I thought they would date after that but it looks like she’s won’t date Yuuya until she beats him. That might take a while but at least they have Fujisawa to pay for their lunch dates.

I feel bad for Fujisawa oh well he brought it upon himself. This story actually gave me an idea for a suggestion. Here it is: The Mc goes to a prestigious school. He gets good grades and is good at sports but he’s ranked second to which he doesn’t complain about. The FMC (who is the school madonna) is ranked first who gets top grades and is adored and fawned by all the girls and boys. She realizes no one comes close to competing with her and she’s always ahead by a large margin and she notices the MC who always ranks second. One day she approaches the MC and tells him to compete against her and the Mc says “I didn’t come to school to compete”. I came to school to get good grades, get into a good university and get a good job. She gets mad at the MC and calls him an idiot and the MC doesn’t bother cause he’s already seen her attitude. She constantly tries to get him to compete but nothing works and she decides to confess to him but the MC saw through her confession as a lie and wanted to embarrass him because he’s ignoring her. He decides to play along with it and on the fateful day she reveals to him she was just playing with him and everyone is there at the scene but the Mc just smiles and plays a video that sees her taking trash about everyone and everyone is shocked to see her attitude and she realizes everyone is whispering that “Just because the MC didn’t want to compete with her , she resorted to drastic measures and her school reputation becomes tarnished. The mc is a mc so he decides to help her. This gives the antagonizing female more ammo telling the mc he should focus on competing against her instead of the lost cause. It would give the mc motivation to expose her. Then obviously the hill gets better at sports and confesse to mc after he defends her from the other crazy competitive female who tries to get rid of her because she is in her way. So boom mc gets away from an irritant and get a gf in process a true rom com ending .

I'm glad that Yuuya and Tenna could get together and decide to do a special competition for one another. Tenna wins, she becomes Yuuya's boyfriend. Yuuya wins, they go on a date. It's a win-win. Now Yuuya won't have to see Tenna cry ever again. And good thing Fujisawa was gullible enough to lose his bet with Yuuya, so he's paying for both of their lunches while Yuuya gets to save money for his dates with Tenna for a whole week. Good for both Yuuya and Tenna, at the literal cost of Fujisawa.

This story is one that was really good actually. I liked the dialouge in the beginning in the flashback. It was nicely done. But more importantly I really like the sentiment here. One of the most insulting things is when you give your all against your opponet and they go easy on you. As a man its one of the most insulting things that anyone can do to you. I feel like i'm being toyed with, made fun of or looked down upon. Its annoying to lose but its more annoying to win against an opponet that let you have the W. I can relate so much to that.

once had somebody ask how the hell i was able to not just pass but get good grades in classes, when i didnt even check out a text book, let alone do the homework... already knew the subjects, more then once i had teachers tell me to teach the lesson.... mostly being smartasss when i was younger.. in HS.. it shifted to being them genuinely wanting to see how i would cover something... the eng teacher..took notes..she actually realized i knew the subject and what we were covering better then she did... when asked how and why... "ADD and hyperfocus are a hell of a drug", the book she had us covering i had read more then once, and had the unabridged audio book for... she was also shocked i genuinely understood the allegory and such, and covered that... had classmates who actually flipped their view of me and treatment of me after a few situations like that... i mean when the metal shop teacher asks the TA(me) of the hard core SPED class, to stick around and teach some of his students to weld... and... your no experienced welder just... self educated and a fast learner... and the teacher admits you can run a better bead then the people that taught welding at the college trade school he learned from...
