Hello Shiba-Shiba! My daughter & I are visiting Japan for the first time in a couple weeks. We will arrive in Osaka & stay at OMO7, then go to Kyoto for a few days, then to Tokyo. Your videos have been very helpful as the trains are what I'm most anxious about. Is the Nankai desk open after 17:00 if we want to speak to someone to book the Nankai Express? From my research, the Icoca, Pasmo & Suica cards all operate the same. So I can get any of these cards on my Iphone and scan at the entry & exits of the trains? Do the the shops accept ApplePay? (Cosme, Uniglo, etc) I want to give my daughter a set amount for her spending money. I'm assuming there are ATMs in the airport? It sounds like it is a better exchange rate than the Currency Exchange booths. Is it easy to get an esim at KIX? Should I pre-order? We arrive at 16:50. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi! Thank you for your comment. The Nankai desk at Kansai Airport Station is open from the first train to the last train. IC cards such as ICOCA, Pasmo and Suica can be used. Install one of them on your iPhone and tap and go at the turnstiles. Many shops in Japan accept ApplePay. There are ATMs at Kansai Airport, mostly from Japanese banks. Hello! Unfortunately, there's no lift at the west exit. However, there's a lift at the south exit, and the south exit is only 10 metres away from the west exit. Walk to the left out of the south exit and you will soon arrive in front of the west exit. You could take the Tokaido Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo and then the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kanazawa, but this is not a realistic route. However, JR Limited Express train "Thunderbird," which runs between Osaka and Kanazawa, is useful.
