What impressed me about this piece was how thoughtful, respectful and articulate Matrix Eames was when speaking about the younger and incredibly talented Jackson Cantwell. As someone who has coached at the High School, Collegiate, Paralympic and Olympic level it is not often you hear an older and experienced High School thrower speak so reverently about an underclassman. The parents of both these young men should be proud of the work their sons have done in and out of sport. Both Jackson and Matrix are well spoken and cerebral young men who strike me as individuals who will succeed in their chosen area of expertise whether in sport or more importantly, in life.

Threw against this guy at the Pitt State relays the week before this meet. Seeing a high school kid throw 70 feet is absolutely astonishing

I heard the last name and thought "Well that makes sense." Given that he's got 2 more years in high school, what are the odds that he can brake Michael Carter's 81'3"?

I was lucky enough to see this guy hit his Pr in Jefferson City. I met his former Olympic dad Christian Cantwell

there's a discus thrower right now that I think is 19 or 20 that has the world record so I can see Jackson doing it in four years.

@@danielcapek5782 ofc it can be different in other countries, europes standards are like 3kg U13, 4Kg U15, 5kg U17, 6kg U20, and lastly the 7.26kg. Correct me if I’m wrong!
