I think he should play and I’ll give you a few reasons: 1. We desperately need this bye week. The whole team does. We have to keep winning. Run some 2 & 3 TE sets and run the ball all game. Keep mahomes’ passing numbers around 20-24. Run bootlegs and get him out of the pocket or give him some easy throws. 2. He needs more time with the offense. With Hollywood coming back he needs real time game reps with Hollywood so they can be on the same page come playoff time. 3. We have to be resting starters against Denver. Denver is gonna be in the playoffs and we could end up playing them. Denver is going to do everything they can to hurt Mahomes in that final game if he plays. It’s really about getting the double bye week.

Stupid. Really stupid. He should rest this week, no practice, no game either. They could let Wentz start and bring him in 4th qaurter if needed. They should let that leg heal until the playoffs. Andy isn't real bright when it comes to injury management.

Play Wentz, use Patrick for Pitts. Wentz is good for 21-24 points. Defense is playing great. You are correct, he will make it worse long-term.

Patrick,Andy and Nagy are scared to start Wentz. He might play better than Mahomes. Wentz is a very accurate passer and was a very good starter when he is healthy.👍Suit Mahomes for emergency only. We need Mahomes more against the Steelers.👍
