It is like playing chess with a 3D element to it. Once you understand all the rules of the game, the roles and responsibilities of each player, and the strategies used by each team, this game becomes fascinating indeed. The Chiefs and the Chargers are both extremely talented teams and always put on a good show for the fans when they compete. These players are extremely physically fit and strong. The average Joe off the street, in full protective gear, would be seriously or fatally injured within seconds if allowed to participate.

Pains me to say it as a AFC rival fan, but Mahomes Magic is real. Of all the big arm/athletic up and coming Quarterbacks (two in this game), this damn guy just finds a way to get it done in clutch situations the most consistently. Imagine sitting in the AFC watching Brady, Manning, Big Ben dominate for damn near 2 decades, retiring, and thinking your team got a shot now. Then oops, here comes Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Herbert, etc., lol.

Let's appreciate how well both these teams played. The Chargers have been riddled with injury and mishaps for years since Herbert came yet they always bring the heat when it comes to these divisional matchups. The Chiefs had an almost empty WR room and still got it done. Very few QBs can make a feat like that. There are a few things to take away from this game. A) Herbert and company are a lot better than they look right now. I just wish they'd bring that fire against every other team not just KC. They could make a deep play off run if they put it together like they did last night. B) Mahomes is more than likely gonna win the MVP. If you can battle it out with almost no receivers, rally your rookies and defense to make plays, etc. That's leadership and value. Not to mention he also threw for 300+ yds 3TDs. That shows the versatility that KC brings with Mahomes and Reid. C) These divisional games play with our blood pressure
