Crazy that its the rookie Rice that is firmly WR1 for this core. Might say a thing or two about the rest of the Chiefs WR core. Toney is clearly the weakest link and a massive liability. If he can't catch dime passes like he got this game how can Mahomes or any QB for that matter, trust him enough to throw to him? Chiefs will be making some serious gambles keeping him in given how mistake prone he appears to be.

@@diallo1347 I get the desire people have to inflate EB's role, but whenever there was a close game - and people forget how many of those close games there have been over the last few years - there was one person the camera cut to on the sidelines, figuring out what to do next on offense. And EB wasn't even in the frame for most of those. He's getting his shot in Washington. We'll see how that goes. Not that well so far, but middling given the less than ideal circumstances.

From another Chiefs fan: as long as Toney keeps costing us 7 to 14 pts per game and entire games, and as long as Kelce sleepwalks and Mahomes loses it on the sidelines, it will feel like losses, agreed. Time for Andy to bench Toney, and pull Kelce back to full TE. And let the fresh wr squad (Rice, CHE, MVS, James) make the catches and plays. It jsut can't be worse than what we've had for 15 weeks now. With Mahomes and KcKinnon holding the fort until Pacheco returns, we may yet enter the playoffs with a smile. Peace, 9877.

Looking at all these comments I think everyone has converged MVS, Toney, and Moore into one person and named him "Toney." Toney has been pretty bad but hes the best of those three. And hes made plays and can probably play the "Hardman role" better than Hardman can. No knock on Hardman intended. Chiefs are just missing pass catchers. Im foreseeing a high need to keep CEH and McKinnon into the rotation to ensure some steadier consistent hands. Also nice to see Rice turning into the primary alternative to Kelce

Baltimore, Miami, KC, Jacksonville are leading their divisions. Houston say that three times, Houston is in the thick of things, Buffalo is still alive too. Denver is in the playoff hunt too. The AFC not being good is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I mean if the AFC is not good? What is the NFC superior? Name one legit team outside of SF, Philadelphia, Dallas, and Detriot?
