The defense either played bad, or there was a lot of holding on the Carolina offensive line not called by the refs. They looked like they were trying to lose the game. Jawon Taylor needs to be released. I am tired of his penalties in critical times in games. Get the offense going. Enough beating around the bush.

Chiefs looked bad last year and still won the Super Bowl , this team is not gonna blow out teams , they just know how to win. Also we’re gonna get a new tackle and get Isaiah and Charles back soon and hopefully Hollywood probably in late December . In the playoffs last 6 years they have been pretty damn good. We’re 10-1 and we are capable of beating any team, just remember every other team is hungry to beat the best, it’s probably why our games are so close.

Carolina isn’t the Carolina of last year. You need to get off that thought. Every team that plays the chiefs even the bad ones get a chance to knock off the champs on prime time TV. So it’s not the same as when they play the raiders with no one watching. And the game play wasn’t as bad as the close score. They are limping along. There are three glaring problems. Each one excerbates the other and it would seem they should be unconnected but they are not. 1. The team let the wrong player go in the off season. I’m sorry but Sneed was more important than Jones. Because many of the chiefs sacks last year were coverage sacks. However, if you play ball control football and you keep the defense off the field it makes up for some of it. But this is also problematic and I will say why in point 2. 2. The chiefs neglected their tackle problems in the offseason. Now the LT problem is biting them hard. Teams, especially ones with half decent defensive coach’s are blitzing in ways that expose their left side weakness for pass protection. 3. Because the Chiefs are weak on the LT for pass protection you don’t need to load up as much to destroy the pocket on a blitz allowing you to get pressure and have plenty of pass coverage. This turns the Chiefs into a 1 dimensional offense who must run between the tackles or rely on misdirection for passing plays. Which brings us to point 4. 4. The Chiefs try to make up for this problem by A. Running the ball down the middle, and B Mahomes is brilliant at buying time to try and wait for an opening. But they have to pass occasionally to keep the opposing defenses from just stacking the box against the run. Any other quarterback and the Chiefs would be 1-10 not 10 - 1. As a result the chiefs are winning ugly because Mahomes superior athleticism is making up for the LT problem. As I have pointed out the LT problem is breaking the system down everywhere. Mahomes has the team running on 3 out of 4 cylinders. He is literally the only reason this team is winning.
