So, Im waiting to actually hear the Gospel that makes this Christian music? I heard "GOD" a few times, but all I heard being repped was "Higher Art." I hear nothing but boasting and talking about how real they are and how good they are at music.....The only difference I hear is no cussing. I GENUINELY dont hear anything that that coulfd even potentially point someone to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. How can the world believe if theres no preacher? This type of stuff brings zero glory to GOD. Its so shallow and lacking of anything real substance. People, be honest. Whats the difference between this and that "God Did" song? Im TRYING to hear the difference, and I CANT. Thats a major problem. By the end of every song, the message should be crustal clear; Jesus Christ is GOD come in the flesh and offerred Himself as a sacrifice for us, because His law says that there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. So He came and fulfilled His own law and rise from the grave to have the legal right to save us from the eternal condemnation of sin and sinners thats also in His law. When He comes back to judge us, our hearts will be judged according to His commandments, which determines whether or not we honored the blood He shed on the cross for us. Theres so many ways to get to that point by the end of the song, but every word is to have that intent, or else it is useless for GODs Kingdom, and is worthy of the fire. You can talk about bejng a man of GOD yourself, or you can instruct others in godliness. What will you use your platform for? To boast in yourself, or to preach? To make money and connections and become a successful Christian rapper, or preach the Gospel? And if your music was godly, but you were putting a price tag, then youd already receive your reward, and there would be nothing in heaven waiting for you. Thats the words of Jesus, not me.
