Was born and raised in Kansas City, when i was 4 my dad used to bring me to the terminals to go plane spotting and what segmented my av geek status. I have been waiting for ever for kc to get a world class airport and can’t believe today is the day

I was fortunate enough to have a stepfather that appreciated my love of aviation back when I was a youngster in the early 80's. He would take me to the airport on Sundays after church to planespot.The highlight was seeing the space shuttle arrive piggyback on a 747 in 1984 or 85'

Congrats on the new terminal. One nit pick. From :16 to 1:37 we get to see planes. No terminal footage, just planes. That’s fine but I came looking for the new terminal and I got almost half a video from Build KCI of… planes!
