So true, before they had to become hit makers for the record companies and Don Kirshner. I love to travel back in time when I find a band I love, so I can understand where they came from.

Kansas could play blues, pop, hard rock, ballads, prog, symphony music you name it. Absolute masters of their instruments and as precise as any band could be. Top 10 band of all time.

when it was all about the music and musicianship, period. that's all that mattered to these great guys, they didn't have a dime when this video was made, but they soldiered on, more in pursuit of great music than stardom. I'm glad they had great success finally, even if I liked them better earlier. I love early Kansas so much (before Walsh starting wearing those short shorts --- yecch!). Masques a particular favorite

It's all about the music. They were young and hungry ...Always about the music with them. I'm happy they found fame so we could all hear some really good music !!

Шедевр из первого альбома. И хотя другие альбомы бы более комерчески успешными, первый все равно самый любимыи у них.
