And we don’t depend on other countries for food, just the food that grows where the weather allows it in our winter, and the delicious products we cannot grow in this country at all. @pmboston i have a farm we can grow our own food and have for some time we have neighborhood co ops for those who can't. Everyone needs to start being accountable for their own. If you go back and look at clinton Al Gore was a dodge during clinton's era, and obama in 2011 regarding usaid, there hasn't been any since then. we will need to stumble through the process.We can't have money continuously flowing out for things, and there is going to be some strain for a short time. Communities need to stand up and help eachother

@@SVW-n7z well your village might survive, but actually people who think hungry neighbors won’t kill them and take what they want without a government watching just aren’t ready for what is actually happening. Your farm is not the result of your work alone, and cities cannot grow food for a population dedicated to other tasks. Like producing and consuming things that don’t grow from seeds but are just as necessary for life. You know, tractors, shovels, hoes, lumber, clothing, writing, teaching, doctoring, nursing, and on and on. We can’t go backwards. Millions of children are going to die.

@@shoelessb4515 To buy food raised in Kansas. That’s the story. Not a secret conspiracy, just something you haven’t understood. This is how Kansas makes what money it does, growing and selling crops. USAID has funds to pay them for the food they grow. The giving to others in need part is either self explanatory or incomprehensible, depending on your capacity for empathy.

USAID is corrupt through and through. They funded Gain of Function research in Wuhan via EcoHealth Alliance. They fund leftist propaganda at NYT, AP, and every other media outlet. They created the Anthrax scare and WMD propaganda to manufacture consent for the invasion of Iraq. The list goes on and on.

USAID distributes food aid as part of that assistance. That foodstuff is purchased from farmers in places like Kansas, which becomes the food aid distributed overseas.

Born and raised here in Kansas and I guarantee that we will be fine without dependence on the corrupt USAID. We shouldn’t be profiting from the misery USAID is responsible for. I’d rather pay a few more cents per loaf of bread than assist in another regime change war killing innocent children.
