カントリー・ロード (Country Road cover) - Reese Lansangan

A few weeks ago, I was binging my fave comfort Ghibli films, and one of them was "Whisper of the Heart". Not knowing which way to go next, wondering if I really have what it takes to pave my own path-it hit pretty close to home.
There's a line from Shizuku's dad where he said:
"Not everyone has to follow the same path."
Which made me think about how we all have our own unique routes towards our goals. That it doesn't matter how many times we re-route ourselves for as long as we keep moving forward-we will eventually get there.
Also, I adore this film's OST especially its version of "Country Road", and I was also stoked when I saw Reese Lansangan's cover for it! ✨ I wanted to express my appreciation for her cover, and so here it is! She was kind enough to let me use her cover for this smol personal illustrated mv, and I was (freaking out 🤯) but also super grateful towards her because her music has always given me comfort and warmth during tough times.
