Today I took the time to make a video about a few things to consider before breeding a betta technically, maybe there are already many who discuss about how to breed betta, but on this occasion I would like to share about my experience. before breeding betta I usually consider these 7 important points.

I am now into the first spawn of my first pairing. A Black/Copper Rose tail male and a solid White Halfmoon Female. I now have 27 fry that have developed to the 2 month stage. Feeding artemia, and will begin with vinegar eels at the end of next week. No sign of their colors yet, but I am expecting some salamander, and some variations on the copper gene. I will let you know how things progress.

i have never been able to succesffully keep my betta frys alive until they are big. Ive tried 5 or 6 times now, i get my bettas to breed but i can never keep the betta frys alive until adulthood. I hope i can take your advice and tips to my next batch of frys. Thank you for making this video!

if we change the water each time we give micro worms especially during the period when the pectoral fins grow there will be no problem for its fins for betta fry. the microphones worms that rot at the bottom of the tank affect the growth of the pectoral fins that's why you have to clean the bottom after each meal.

I have had experiences like you, hatching eggs without a male, You have to lower the water (3cm), and close the breeding place. If you are lucky, they will hatch and can swim after 4-5 days... Thank you
