Kany García y Young Miko vienen de dos mundos diferentes. Kany, la baladista con su vozarrón único en el mundo del pop, tiene una trayectoria que, cada vez más, enseña la versatilidad de la boricua en géneros tan diversos como la bachata y las rancheras. Su amistad cercana las llevó a componer “En Esta Boca”, una canción donde las artistas se salen de su zona de confort. “Yo siempre quería hacer una bachata y me emocionó mucho que Kany me pudiera visualizar fuera de una caja”, dijo Young Miko en entrevista exclusiva. El video, dirigido por Val Vega, cuenta la historia de un encuentro furtivo entre dos mujeres en una de las barras históricas del Viejo San Juan, El Batey. Kany Garcia and Young Miko come from two different worlds. The former is a Latin pop dynamo with a storied trajectory and a voice so versatile it fits a wide range of genres, from bachata to ranchera. Miko is the charismatic newcomer who took the world by storm with her unique flow. A reggaeton upstart with a footing in the art world, she has quickly made a dent on the urban music scene, earning herself a Coachella slot. The pair’s friendship blossomed through shared admiration, and led to them write “En Esta Boca,” a song that sees both singers challenging themselves in a new genre. “I’ve always wanted to write a bachata and I’m so excited that Kany was able to visualize me outside of this box,” Young Miko said in an exclusive interview. The video, directed by Val Vega, tells the story of a furtive encounter between two women in the historic Old San Juan bar, El Batey.
